We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, polystyrene, and or instapak when boxing up our gear for shipping. While w e don't have the original box for this unit, we take packaging and shipping seriously. I did not get the straight tonearm or the rest of the original weights when I purchased the turntable. Also included are one original 70 gram tonearm weight, and two aftermarket weights of 25, and 100 grams. Included in the sale is the Turntable, Original dust cover, The S shaped tonearm with Denon headshell, and a like new Denon DL-103R Moving Coil cartridge (with the original box) with less than 4 hours on it. (A center weight was put on a record and when the cover was closed it made contact with the lid and put a mark on it) There is a blemish on the right front side of the lid, and there is a circular blemish/scratch on the underside of the lid over the spindle. The original dustcover is in very good shape with normal light scratches over the years. - By ordering this product with custom specifications you acknowledge that.
